Sigma 50-150mm F/2.8 APO EX DC HSM

	This is my favorite basketball lens. Since it is new to the market I thought I'd offer my impressions of this lens for that purpose. You'll find this lens reasonable in weight and you'll love the HSM focus motor - smooth, quiet and fairly fast. It's a pleasure to use from the baseline, sideline, or a close bleacher. Shooting from the baseline in vertical (portrait) mode gives some spectacular shots under the bucket in front of you. Then you can switch to landscape orientation to shoot action at mid court or the far end of the floor. So it's tremendously versatile.
